Couponing Can Make a Difference

What would you do if you were chugging along in life, doing everything you are supposed to do, minding your own business and suddenly, BAM!  Life throws you a curve ball.  That is what happened to my friend, Shelli this past year.  She was handed a shocking diagnosis of cervical cancer.  What is more devastating is that her medical insurance carrier is refusing to pay for her cancer treatments.

Dealing with cancer in and of itself is something I can’t fathom.  But imagine dealing with all the extra stressors that come along with it like, no medical insurance coverage for not only the treatments but all the accessories you have to buy.  What about juggling nausea and weakness, doing your best to make it to your job, wondering how the stack of bills is going to get taken care of?  I’m sure just mustering enough strength to get to the store to buy the little things that we all need is even hard for her.

We live in a time where it is TOUGH to get by.  Couponing has been such a blessing to my family and that is why I am attempting to share what I know with as many people as I can.  One thing I do know is this: when you print a coupon off a site like coupons.com, the person who has an affiliate account with them gets paid for clicks and conversions.  Deciphered, this means I used my coupon link account in the month of January.  I printed enough coupons for myself that I accumulated $5 in my coupons.com account. So I got to thinking...if ten people printed as many coupons from my link, as I do in one month – I would receive a $50 payout from coupons.com.

So why am I telling you all of this you might ask.  It’s simple.  I want everyone to use my link to print coupons, DUH!  But, I don't want your money.  I want to give the money to Shelli.  I don’t know if it can make a dent in the astronomical pile of medical bills she’s accumulating, but I feel like every little bit can help.  I will use my Facebook account to continue to let you know where to find good deals and I will direct you to coupon bloggers who have great scenarios planned, but if you could simply click on my coupon link to print your coupons, it would be greatly appreciated and it could make a small difference for Shelli.

Thank you!!!!  ;)
